Has anyone seen the new Bear Brand "Laki sa Gatas" commercials on our local free TV? I think they are now running the one with Isko Moreno. But if you happened to catch the first outing (the debut ad) of this commercial series, you have definitely seen Wendell.
Dr. Jose Wendell Capili was my classmate back in the late 80s (buking ang age!). We were a small band of Journalism majors in UST and Wendell was our class president (up until we graduated). Matalino talaga yang batang yan (haha)! Even then he was a brilliant writer so I'm not really surprised that he has become so esteemed in the academe.

Godspeed Dolly
Madalas akong nagbubukas ng email ko. Ewan ko ba naman kung bakit I skipped a day na hindi ko siya na-check. Kanina lang nang binuksan ko ang mail ko, nagulat ako sa balita ng college tropa. Dolly Aglay writes 30, sabi ng news article na naka-attach sa email ng tropa. As if the dreariness of the day was not enough, nadagdagan pa ang lungkot ko with the passing of a good friend in college.
